Tourisme en péril - Jérôme Tourbier
- In French. First published in 2016 (e-book).
Should we celebrate the global tourist season record in 2015 with over 85 million estimated visitors or be alarmed that the trauma of the attacks in Paris and the state of emergency accentuate the disaffection of Chinese and Japanese tourists for France and worsen lower tourism revenues? As indeed, the reality is cruel. We are losing ground against major nations like the United States but also in relation to our European neighbors of comparable size.
-> A very disappointing book, pulling the same strings as usual ... lack of support and will of the State, bad resources and infrastructure ... never the fault of the professionals who rest on their laurels and are afraid of changing anything.
