Guanxi (The Art Of Relationships) - Robert Buderi
- In english. First published in 2006.
In an age of global innovation, could an unlikely partnership between the world's most famous capitalist and the world's largest communist nation be helping to determine the future of computer science? Guanxi explores the true ramifications of China's technological progress – and how it can be turned to everyone's advantage.
-> Quite a disapppointing book if one does look for how to define, build, use and maintain "Guanxi". Indeed it is quite a praise to Microsoft's forray into the chinese scientific elite and how they built their lab operations in Beijing from scratch (yet deep pocketed). But was it because the book is already past its "best before" date, that it was not really was I was looking for?
